Terms of Service

1. Service

ConvertCom Online offers a free and paid secure file conversion service.

• Each file is processed in separate containers to mitigate potential infection risks from third-party files that may contain viruses or be improperly formatted
• We do not access your files beyond what is necessary for conversion

2. File Responsibility

You are responsible for the files uploaded for conversion.

• Ensure you have the legal rights to the content
• Files must not contain malicious or harmful content
• Sending a file intentionally to harm ConvertCom/ProConvertCom may result in legal action

3. Privacy and Storage

Temporary input files are deleted 1 minute after conversion.

Output (converted) files:

• Free version: available on our servers for 4 minutes
• Pro version: available on our servers for up to 1 hour
• To delete a file immediately after download, click the download button 3 times; the file will be removed after reaching the download limit or automatically after 1 hour
• Each file can be downloaded up to 3 times

4. Collected Data

We collect only: IP address, upload time, file name, uploaded format, and conversion format.

• Login is via Google; only your email is sent to Stripe for payment processing
• No credit card or banking information is stored by us
• No other personal data is collected or shared with third parties, except for payment processing via Stripe

5. Emails

By signing up, you agree to receive emails from ConvertCom, including conversion notifications, updates, and promotions.

6. Service Use

• Free service is for personal or educational use
• Paid users may use the service commercially according to the plan purchased
• You must comply with all applicable laws when using our converter

7. Limitations and Disclaimers

• Service is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy or quality
• We are not responsible for data loss or conversion errors
• Compatibility with all software and formats is not guaranteed

8. Terms Modifications

• We may update these terms at any time
• Continued use of the service indicates acceptance of the changes
